Bangladesh is hosting the AFC Challenge Cup qualifying matches for Group ‘A’ from on April 26-30 in Dhaka. Bangladesh, Myanmar, Macau and Cambodia are in the group.
Police is also scheduled to play Seven-a-Side football match on Saturday noon as well. “It will be difficult to play two matches a day, but we are ready to play both the matches as we are mentally prepared for that”, said police coach Birat Krishna Shrestha.
Police will represent Nepal in the AFC President Cup qualifying match scheduled to begin in Kathmandu from May 14. Police has been placed alongside Chinese Taipei, Rager Tajad (Tajikistan) and WAPDA (Pakistan).
“We will play for performance not for result. We will mark the weaknesses of the team which should be helpful for the President Cup”, coach Shrestha said.
