KATHMANDU, Feb 5: The deadline of the commission formed by the government to inquire about the tragic accident that occurred at Balkumari in Lalitpur district on January 1 has been extended by 15 days.
According to the Spokesperson at the Ministry of Home Affairs Yek Dev Adhikari, the commission has been given 15 days more to investigate into the case as it could not complete the investigation in the given deadline of 30 days.

The government had formed a commission under the leadership of former High Court judge Shekhar Paudel to carry out a fair and objective investigation of the incident. Former Additional Inspector General of Nepal Police Arun BC and Joint Secretary at the Ministry of Home Affairs, Narayan Prasad Bhattarai are other members of the commission.
