Balaju, Lainchaur sub-stations restored

KATHMANDU, May 1: Electricity supply to Balaju and Lainchaur areas resumed from Friday after Nepal Electricity Authroity (NEA) restored power supply from its Lainchaur and Balaju substations.

Ramchandra Pandey, chief of Distribution and Consumer Services of NEA, told Republica on Friday that power supply has resumed in 91 percent of areas in Kathmandu Valley.


"We are trying to restore our Teku substation," added Pandey. NEA has restored all its 148 feeders in the Kathmandu Valley. Electricity supply has also been resumed in Dolakha and Ramechhap districts.
