KATHMANDU, July 30: Bahadur Singh Lama, the newly appointed Chief Minister (CM) of Bagmati Province and leader of the Nepali Congress (NC) parliamentary party for the province, has secured a vote of confidence.
Lama received 64 votes in his favor, with support from the CPN-UML and NC lawmakers. Meanwhile, 35 lawmakers opposed, including members from the CPN (Maoist Center), CPN (Unified Socialist), and Rastriya Prajatantra Party.
