For the eastern province, Tamor High-dam project can be a game changer project for reducing dependency of electricity from other provinces and also serve as a means to achieve prosperity for the people through employment opportunities. A preliminary report prepared by NEA indicates that the geographical location, social impact assessment and environmental conditions are feasible to build the storage project in the area.
