Finance, law ministries approve of making Budhi Gandaki a public company

KATHMANDU, June 26: The Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs have suggested that the Budhi Gandaki Hydropower Project can be constructed by making it a public company.

KATHMANDU, June 3: Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) has started exporting 39 MW of electricity to India with the onset of monsoon. The NEA has started exporting electricity generated in Nepal to India from Wednesday midnight. NEA has exported 39 MW of surplus electricity to India.

KATHMANDU, May 9: Shailung Construction, which has been neglecting contracted roads and bridges, has also neglected the Melamchi pipeline expansion and construction of overhead tanks.
