KATHMANDU, JULY 11: China State Engineering Construction Corporation, the contractor of the Siddhababa tunnel way on the Butwal-Palpa road section, has started the design work of the tunnel. The Chinese company won the contract on February 13, 2022 to build the tunnel in the Engineering Procurement Construction (EPC) model. As per the contract agreement, the contractor company will have to prepare the design of the tunnel within nine months.

Butwal-Narayanghat road progresses 18 percent in 41 months

Over 115,000 vehicles added in eight months in Bagmati Province

KATHMANDU, JULY 4: In the first eight months of the current fiscal year, 115,057 vehicles have been added in Bagmati Province. According to the Bagmati Ministry of Transport, Labor and Employment, 96,527 two-wheelers and 18,530 four-wheelers were added during the period. According to the ministry, the total number of vehicles registered in Bagmati has reached 1.8 million by February this year.
