KATHMANDU, Jan 22: Arun Dev Acharya won the title of Subisu Golf Tournament at the Royal Nepal Golf Club in Kathmandu on Saturday. Arun secured top finish on count back after he was tied at 39 points with Ang Norbu Sherpa, who secured second position.
Phuntsok Lama took home the best gross award with 29 points while Pratima Sherpa emerged the winner in women's section. Pratima collected 40 points.
With four birdies under his belt, Deep Bahadur Basnet secured the most birdies award. Sanyog Shahi won the longest drive and Pratima, women's champion, took the closest to pin award.
The event played in ¾ stableford handicap format saw participation of 62 golfers. The tournament was organized by Subisu Cablenet Pvt Ltd.
