After making a splash at the domestic box office with her film ‘Luka Chuppi’, co-starring Kartik Aaryan, Kriti Sanon will next be seen in a cop-comedy ‘Arjun Patiala’, opposite Diljit Dosanjh. There was a lot of speculations about the film’s plot, one being that the story is about a short man who falls in love with a tall woman.

However, the actress recently cleared the air and dismissed rumors surrounding the film, assuring that it had nothing to do about height differences. Going on to talk about the film, Kriti said that the film is an out-and-out North Indian comedy with a Punjabi flavor. She further elaborated that while Diljit plays a cop, she plays the role of a crime reporter and although there is an underlining romance, she assured it was not the main plot of the film.

Kriti also shared her views about why she thinks the rumors began doing the rounds. She elaborated that Diljit plays a character who is a little conscious about his height and him reporting to a police station where fellow officers are 6’2” to 6’3”, he tries to match up.

‘Arjun Patiala’, which sees Kriti and Arjun share screen-space for the first time, also stars Varun Sharma.
