Rupak Raj Sunuwar speaks in favor of this advanced mobile device. “It is amazing, it has multitudes of applications through which you can solve any problem with just a click in a matter of seconds,” he says.
Bikalpa Kattel seconds Sunuwar’s opinion. “Since smartphones are updated with the latest technology and features, it is easy to use,” says Kattel pointing out that the applications included in the smartphones are useful for business people as well as for students.
Anush Pathak, on the other hand, shares his bad experience with smartphones. “I have used about seven smartphones so far and I found out that regardless of the price, they have very few differences when it comes to features. And also, most of them are generally android based.
They may vary, physically but function-wise, they are all the same,” says Pathak. Thus, he feels that ‘new’ smartphones which are expensive just because of their physical features are a marketing gimmick of companies.
High prices are one of the biggest disadvantages of smartphones. Also, many young people are addicted to their phones and tend to concentrate less at work or at school.
It also is a major social-time killer as people often tend to be busy using their phones even during social gatherings. Nevertheless the craze for owning a smartphone or multiple smartphones is only increasing.
