APF seizes 2,100 kg of marijuana along with truck in Sunsari

Armed Police Force (APF) Nepal has seized a truck carrying approximately 2,130 kilograms of marijuana from the Koshi Highway in Shivadhara, Dharan Sub-Metropolitan City-13, Sunsari.

KATHMANDU, June 16: Armed Police Force (APF) Nepal has seized a truck carrying approximately 2,130 kilograms of marijuana from the Koshi Highway in Shivadhara, Dharan Sub-Metropolitan City-13, Sunsari.


Based on a tip-off, the security base of APF in Dharan intercepted the Province 1-02-002 Kha 0848 numbered truck, which was transporting 70 sacks of marijuana along with 31 sacks of ginger and vegetables from Bhedetar towards Dharan.

The individuals involved in transporting the marijuana, including the truck driver, are currently absconding. The seized marijuana, vegetables, and the truck are in the process of being handed over to the concerned authorities for further legal action.
