KATHMANDU, July 30: The team of the Armed Police Force (APF) safely rescued four people last night who were trapped in the Bijaypur river located at Kahunkhola in Pokhara Metropolitan City-13 of Kaski district.
Prem Sunar, 23, Sudip Gurung, 40, Arjun BK, 28 and Kshitij Nepali,19, of the same district were trapped in the boring water tank which was under construction after a sudden flood due to heavy rainfall.
Upon receiving the information about the incident, APF Inspector Dil Kumar Shrestha immediately deployed a team trained in disaster management from Kalika-24 Kaski for the rescue operation.
