APF to set up posts in 21 places along border with China, India in Province-1

PANCHTHAR, Feb 4: Base camps of Armed Police Force Nepal would be set up at 21 different places of Province no 1 bordering with China and India for the security.

PANCHTHAR, Feb 4: The Armed Police Force will set up its outposts in 21 different places of Province no 1 along the border with China and India, Minister for Economic Affairs and Planning of the Province Indra Bahadur Aangbo said.

He said so while visiting the bordering area of Chiwabhanjyang of Paanchthar district. Minister Aangbo said that border outposts to be established along bordering areas with China and India would help reduce criminal activities and smuggling.


Saying the border security is in the high-priority of the provincial government, he said that necessary budget has been allocated for constructing the check points. The provincial government has allocated Rs 1.75 million for the purpose of border security, he added. RSS
