ANNISU-R begins campaign against 'irregular teachers'

KATHMANDU, Oct. 7: The All Nepal National Independent Students Union-Revolutionary ( ANNISU- R), started a campaign of ´ Irregular teachers leave the campus´ from today saying some government campus teachers have prioritized private campuses and used the government campuses as only a place for drawing salaries.



The campaign has been started from all the constituent campuses of the Tribhuwan University, the organization said. [break]



Chairman of the Organization, Himal Sharma initiating the campaign at Ratna Rajya Laxmi Campus in Kathmandu today said the campaign was started to end the educational mafias as they were engaged in promoting private campus only.



He also stressed on unity of all concerned for saving the TU and its constituent campuses. RR Campus president of the Organization, Kailash Kumar Darlami said the campaign was for stopping irregularities and improving education.



Under the campaign, daily presence will be checked, attendance of those not taking regular classes will be canceled and other pressure programs will be organized, the organization said.
