The six-day tournament will feature competitions in three sections -- green, blue and yellow. CEOs and directors of corporate houses can compete in doubles event in the green section while the yellow section will feature doubles event for celebrities. In the blue section, anyone from any invited corporate house will be eligible to compete in the men´s singles, women´s singles and doubles events.
All the matches will be played at the National Sports Council covered hall. Meanwhile, the association will select 32 shuttlers between nine to 11 years of age from the Kathmandu Valley in its talent hunt program. "We will unveil the 32 selected players during the closing ceremony of the corporate tournament. We hope to get further support for the talent hunt program from corporate houses after the event," said Nepal Badminton Association President Ramesh Kumar Shrestha.
