Tamang’s second venture into celluloid, ‘Angalo Yo Mayako’, was premiered at Vajra Hall, Gangtok on March 31.[break]
The show was inaugurated by Sikkim Chief Minister Pawan Kumar Chamling.
Mayank Chang, the winner of dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Season 3 and contestant of Indian Idol was also present at the event.
The film has Tamang in the lead role while actor Harshika Shrestha is debuting with the film.
Other new artistes in the film include Mahendra Gurung, Bijayata Baraily, Sandhya Sundas, Hemant Giri, Mahendra Bajgain, Mahendra Bagdas, Pannu Gajmer, Amer Bania and Swagatika Thami.

Other notable names gracing the film are actors Prem Subba, Chunilal Ghimire and Pradip Pakhrin.
The soundtrack for the film has been scored by musician Issac Chhetri. Tamang himself has sung in the film, along with singers Sagar Bal, George Suman Pega, Sukmit Lepcha and Gita Sharma.
A Sinai Commercial Pvt Ltd presentation, the film has been produced by Kishor Dungmali Rai.
According to the producers of the film, the story deals with today’s youngsters and should be relevant in the present context.
The film will be released first in Gangtok on April 8, and will be screened later in Nepal, Israel, UK, USA, Australia, Hong Kong, Qatar and Dubai.
