ANFA starts U-19 training

KATHMANDU: Nepali U-19 football team has started training for the AFC U-19 Cup Qualifiers. All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) has appointed Raju Kaji Shakya and Kishor KC as the coaches of the youth team. According to Shakya, 20 players attended the training session on Tuesday, the second day of training.



"We´ll call up 30 players for the training and conduct a few selection rounds to decide the team," said Shakya. Nepal has been drawn alongside India, Uzbekistan, Qatar and Turkmenistan in Group A of the qualifiers to be held in Qatar from October 4 to 12.
