Ambulance and hearse drivers had accused Ghopa Taxi Entrepreneurs´ Association (GTEA) of barring them from picking up patients from the BPKIHS premises. The BPKIHS has allotted parking space for ambulance and hearses apart from taxis.
According to Jay Kerung, coordinator of a team formed by ambulance and hearse operators to hold dialogues with the BPKIHS, the probe committee headed by Bishnu Prasad Chapagain, the head of general administration department of the BPKIHS, will submit its report within five days.
“The BPKIHS has assured us that it will address our demands,” Kerung told Republica.
