Akshay Kumar was recently shooting a pivotal scene for his upcoming cop-drama, the Rohit Shetty-directed 'Sooryavanshi', in Mumbai, when he suffered a hand injury. “He sprained a muscle in the left arm. The physiotherapist taped the affected areas and Akki continued to shoot,” revealed a source from the set.
A major chunk of the film was shot in Bangkok, Mumbai and Hyderabad, which includes the action-packed finale featuring Ajay Devgn, Ranveer Singh and Akshay. The film is set for a March 2020 opening. “A few days of shoot, and a song featuring Akshay and Katrina Kaif, remain,” the source added. While no-one confirmed the news, the injury was visible on Akshay's arm in a video he shared online recently.
