Air travel will be made orderly and safe: Tourism Minister Kirati

KATHMANDU, Jan 17: The newly-appointed Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Sudan Kirati, has expressed his commitment to remove the inconsistencies seen in Nepal Airlines Corporation - the national flag carrier of Nepal - and develop it as an organization worth being proud of.

KATHMANDU, Jan 17: The newly-appointed Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Sudan Kirati, has expressed his commitment to remove the inconsistencies seen in Nepal Airlines Corporation - the national flag carrier of Nepal - and develop it as an organization worth being proud of.


After taking the oath of office and secrecy at the President's Office in Sital Niwas, Minister Kirati said that he will turn the corporation into a corporation in the real sense.

Similarly, he said that he would pay special attention to air safety. Minister Kirati mentioned that he would work to make air flights safe and organized.


Minister Kirati made it clear that he will not promote nepotism. Stating that he will work to improve the tourism sector, which is in trouble after the onset of the coronavirus pandemic, he said that this sector is vital for the country's economic progress.


Minister Kirati says that he will work in coordination with all the agencies for a special initiative to make air travel safer in Nepal. “Since cleanliness is the first thing to create a working environment, I would like to give instructions to keep all areas of the airport clean,” he said.
