KATHMANDU, Oct 19: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said that the government is working on forging an agreement among the ruling, opposition and agitating political parties on amending the constitution before the Chhath festival on Wednesday.
Speaking at a Legislature-Parliament meeting today, Prime Minister Dahal said that he is holding both formal and informal talks with the agitating parties so as to forge consensus among the stakeholders on the issue of constitution amendment before the upcoming Chhath festival.

Dahal further said that the government is taking initiative to forge consensus among the political parties on the restructuring of the local bodies.
Boasting about the achievements made so far by the government under his premiership, he also informed that the elections-related bills have already been registered in the Parliament.
Dahal also did not forget to mention about the formation of the Joint Monitoring Team to contain black marketeering in all the 75 districts and the issuance of a 28-point directive for the smooth delivery of government services to the general people.
