AFCAN delegation pays a courtesy call on Foreign Minister Saud

KATHMANDU, June 10: The members of the Association of Former Career Ambassadors of Nepal (AFCAN) have paid a courtesy call on Foreign Minister Narayan Prakash Saud at the latter's office on Friday.

KATHMANDU, June 10: The members of the Association of Former Career Ambassadors of Nepal (AFCAN) have paid a courtesy call on Foreign Minister Narayan Prakash Saud at the latter's office on Friday.


The AFCAN team included executive committee members, former foreign secretaries, and past presidents of the association.

AFCAN Chairman Bhagirath Basnet extended congratulations and best wishes to Minister Saud for his successful term of office on behalf of AFCAN. He also highlighted that the wide experience gained by the members of the association in the course of their long service in the different parts of the world and MoFA may be utilized for suggesting standard operating procedures of MOFA- Missions and restructuring aspects of the Ministry in the present context as well.


While acknowledging the contribution of the members of AFCAN to the nation in the past, Foreign Minister Saud said that AFCAN could be a reliable interlocutor to interact on foreign policy issues. Chairman Basnet also presented a copy of AFCAN's latest publication AFCAN Review III to Minister Saud.
