Chinese delegation pays a courtesy call on Vice-President Yadav

KATHMANDU, Jan 7: A delegation of the Communist Party of China (CPC) led by Deputy Secretary of the Standing Committee of Yunnan Provincial Committee, Shi Yugang, paid a courtesy call on Vice President Ram Sahay Prasad Yadav at the Office of the Vice President on Saturday.

KATHMANDU, Jan 7: A delegation of the Communist Party of China (CPC) led by Deputy Secretary of the Standing Committee of Yunnan Provincial Committee, Shi Yugang, paid a courtesy call on Vice President Ram Sahay Prasad Yadav at the Office of the Vice President on Saturday.  


The Office of the Vice President said that the issues of bilateral relations, exchange of visit, bilateral cooperation, trade and tourism were discussed during the meeting.

On the occasion, Vice President Yadav expressed pleasure for continuous development of Nepal-China relations.


"There are several similarities between geographic, social and cultural features of Nepal and Yunnan. I express my happiness for the continuous expansion of our people to people relations and trade, investment, cultural and educational exchanges in recent years," the Vice President shared.


Vice President Yadav also thanked the Chinese side for China's support to Nepal's development endeavors.
