Adverse weather disrupts flights in Biratnagar and Janakpur

The regular flights have been operating since morning at the remaining airports, including Chandragadhi, Bharatpur, Bhairahawa, Nepalgunj, Dhangadhi, and Pokhara.

KATHMANDU, Jan 16: Domestic flights have been affected due to adverse weather conditions. According to spokesperson for the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), Rinji Sherpa, flights have not been able to operate in Biratnagar, Simara and Janakpur since this morning.


Sherpa said that the remaining airports are also partially operating. Sherpa said there are no flights in Biratnagar, Simara and Janakpur since morning. In Janakpur, as the weather clears up, preparations are underway for flight operations.
