Call center established to inform about plane crash

KATHMANDU, Jan 15: Airport authorities have set up a call center at the Tribhuvan International Airport to provide information about the Yeti Airlines plane crash that occurred in Pokhara this morning.

KATHMANDU, Jan 15: Airport authorities have set up a call center at the Tribhuvan International Airport to provide information about the Yeti Airlines plane crash that occurred in Pokhara this morning.


General Manager of Tribhuvan International Airport, Premnath Thakur, said that a call center has been set up with two telephones to share information about the plane crash of Yeti Airlines in Pokhara.

"A call center has been opened at Tribhuvan Airport to establish a call center for families, relatives and others who want to get information about the plane crash. The victims’ families can contact the call center to get the necessary information," said Thakur.


The TIA has urged the grieving families to contact Pemba Sherpa (9801007531) on behalf of Yeti Airlines and the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN)’s TIA office (01-4113163) at the call center for further information. The TIA-based office of CAAN informed that an emergency meeting of the Council of Ministers held on Sunday afternoon decided to establish the call center to provide all the necessary information about the accident from one place.
