According to a Daily Times and a BGR News report, Malik First Born Allah Farrad, was charged for being a convicted felon in possession of a gun based on a Facebook selfie.
Farrad will be spending the next 15-and-a-half years in a federal penitentiary because of this single Facebook post.
Born Marvin Buckles, Farrad was sentenced on Thursday to 188 months in a Tennessee federal prison following his 2015 conviction of being a felon in possession of a gun.
The longtime criminal was last convicted on federal gun and drug charges back in 2000. Before that, he had a long history of arrests and convictions that began at age of 14, the Knoxville News Sentinel reports.
