TIA services should be more credible: Civil Aviation Minister

KATHMANDU Dec 7: Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Ananda Prasad Pokharel, has said that services at the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) should be made more credible and reliable.

Minister Pokharel said so while hoisting a flag at the TIA on Monday on the occasion of the International Civil Aviation Day.He said, "Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal is disciplined. Facilities of the international standard should be given at the TIA."

Minister Pokharel added that the government was committed to increase investment in this sector and urged all to make its future bright by strengthening the existing structure.

The Tourism Minister said that all should be united to uplift the reputation of the TIA in the world. RSS
