21 fuel tankers enter thru Rupaidiha after UDMF lifts obstruction

NEPALGUNJ, Nov 18: United Democratic Madheshi Front (UDMF) discontinued their sit-in staged at no-man’s land at Nepal-India border this afternoon.

UDMF cadres protested from 12 noon to 2 pm on Wednesday afternoon obstructing entry of cargo vehicles to Nepal through Rupaidiha border point.

ASI Hari Gurung as Area Police Office, Jamuniha informed that 20 diesel and one petrol tankers entered Nepal after the obstruction was lifted.  

Agitators had allowed only rickshaws, bicycles and motorcycles to ply and had sent back cargo vehicles that were attempting to enter Nepal from India.
