Speaking at a condolence meet organized by the United Democratic Madhesi Front (UDMF) in Janakpurdham on Saturday, leader Mahato accused the government of not being serious to address the issues of Madhesh.
Stating that the new constitution had enshrined negligible rights to the seven provinces, he argued that it had further made them devoid of rights.
Also, speaking at the program, Terai Madhesh Democratic Party Vice-Chairperson Brikhes Chandra Lal remarked that the comments made by leaders of three major political parties on the ongoing agitations in various districts across the southern plains were anti-Madheshi.
Various speakers including Central Committee member of Federal Socialist Forum Nepal, Amreshnarayan Jha, Lalkishore Shah of the Sadbhawana Party, female leaders as Bivha Thakur and Bindu Thakur suggested to make the agitation further stern and decisive unless Madhesh is granted with due rights. RSS
