84 candidates nominated from Rukum

RUKUM : Various political parties have recommended 84 candidates from Rukum district in the view of the upcoming Constituent Assembly (CA) elections. UCPN (Maoist), Nepali Congress, CPN (UML), Rastriya Janmorcha, Rastriya Prajatantra Party-Nepal, Nepal Workers and Peasant Party, and Mangol National Organization Party have already nominated their candidates from the district, whereas Rastriya Prajatantra Party is yet to nominate candidates from the district. Only 21 candidates from various political parties had been fielded in the last CA elections.



 While UCPN (Maoist) has nominated 15 candidates, the Nepali Congress has recommended 22 candidates. Similarly, CPN (UML) has nominated 16 candidates. Rastriya Janamorcha, Nepal Workers and Peasants Party, Mangol National Organization Party, and Rastriya Prajatantra Party-Nepal have recommended 16, 7, 5, and 13 candidates respectively.
