Landslide blocks Butwal-Palpa section on highway

KATHMANDU, Aug 6: People have been unable to travel between Butwal and Palpa on Thursday after a landslide near Siddhababa temple blocked the area on Siddhartha Highway.



The Department of Roads has so far unable to clear the rocks and mud piled on the road.



Meanwhile, Avenues TV said that people who had set out for Janai Purnima celebration (on Wednesday) have been stranded as the road section has remained blocked for the past two days.
