Tech university this year

BHAKTAPUR, Aug 5: The Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT) is set to establish a Technical University in Tikapur in the far-western region this year.



The government has already allotted Rs 100 million for the establishment of the Tikapur Technical University, Jaya Bahadur Tondan, member secretary, CTEVT, said on Monday. He also informed that CTEVT has planned to set up a Technical University to produce capable human resources.



Likewise, CTEVT is also set to produce basic, medium and high-level technical human resources in the country. The Council has already started doing necessary exercises to groom high-level technical human resources within two years, said Ramesh Bakhati, Director, Examination Division, CTEVT.
