KATHMANDU, Jan 10: The government and Rajan Mukti-led Janatatrik Tarai Mukti Morcha (JTMM-R) inked five-point agreement in Janakpur on Saturday, according to dainikee.com. The agreement was reached in a dialogue held between the two parties this afternoon. As per the agreement, the government will ensure safety of JTMM-R talks team members during talks period and JTMM-R, in return, will suspend all its armed activities. The government has agreed to release arrested JTMM-R cadres after thorough investigation of the list provided by JTMM-R and bring all agitating armed groups in Tarai in negotiation table. The government talks team, however, has rejected the JTMM-R’s demand to keep its arms and combatants in cantonments.
