7 held with narcotics from separate places

KATHMANDU, Aug 29: Police have arrested seven people with narcotic drugs from Sunsari and Parsa.

Among those held, four have been arrested from Sunsari while the remainig are from Parsa.

An on-duty police team arrested four people including Sujan Rai, 30, of Dharan Sub Metropolitan City-15 with 11.3 grams of brown sugar while they were traveling in a car,  Ba 11 Cha 4346, at Katan of Sunsari Koshi rural municipality on Tuesday.

The narcotic drug was wrapped in plastics hidden in the fuel tank of the car.

Similarly, police also arrested an Indian national Sanjaya Sahani of Motiyari, India in Parsa with 60 kilograms of marijuana  on Tuesday.

The narcotics was seized at Parwanipur from a car, BL 9 CQS 4309, while it was heading to Birgunj Metropolitan City-21 from Hetauda.

Similarly, Jiwan Bahadur Khadka, 19, and Bishan BK,21, of Hetauda Sub Metropolitan City were held in front of Baishnavi Hall in Birgunj Metropolitan Citty-16.

Similarly, Jiwan Bahadur Khadka, 19, and Bishan BK,21, of Hetauda Sub Metropolitan City were held with 61 ampoules of phenargan and 62 ampoules of diazepam and nurofen each in front of Baishnavi Hall in Birgunj Metropolitan Citty-16 .

Police said they are investigating the case by the arrested into custody.
