KATHMANDU, Aug 20: Metropolitan Police Range, Kathmandu has arrested seven people in possession of weapons at Tinkune on Monday.
Acting on a tip-off that they were carrying weapons and taking a stroll in public places, a special squad of MPR, Kathmandu nabbed them with weapons after an investigation of three days, Kathmandu Police Chief SSP Basanta Kumar Lama told Republica Online.
One man held with pistol and bullets
Police had been keeping a close tab on them following the tip-off.
According to Lama, police arrested them with a pistol along with its bullets from A One Restaurant located between Baneshwar and Airport.
