The award carries a purse of Rs 10,000 and a copper plague each.[break]
The award will be presented on the occasion of Trimurti Day on September 27. A meeting of the Niketan presided over by chairperson of the Niketan, Indria Parsain, took a decision to this end.
Ambardhoj Khati (Rupandehi), Kamal Jangali (Jhapa), Kashinath Joshi (Kailali), Kedar Sharma Dhakal (Syangja), Dr Ganga Prasad Akela (Dhanusha), Charusheela Mishra (Kathmandu), Basudev Dhakal (Kathmandu), Bedraj Panta (Lamjung), Siddhikarna Sharma Dhimal (Sunsari) and Sitadevi Rimal (Kathmandu) would be honoured for their contribution to the Nepali literature.
