Madhudayal Saiju, Suresh Ligal, Surendra Pandey, Madhav Aryal, Jaykrishna Thakali, Surendra Karmacharya, Sunil Karmacharya, Raju Maharjan and Sushil Shakya were elected members.
The general meeting was held in the presence of central representative Prakash Pangeni.
Squash tourney begins
KATHMANDU, July 13: Kiran Maharjan (NSRA) defeated his namesake Kiran Maharjan 3-1 in the opener of the Second CG Open Squash Tournament being held at the Squash Complex, Satdobato, on Monday.
Likewise, Amrit Thapa beat Ranadhir Singh, Suraj Shrestha beat Deepak Maharjan, Pramod Shrestha beat Bharat Maharjan, Rajendra Bhakta Shrestha beat Dev Dangol, Prajwal Pradhan beat Surendra Maharjan and Prabinbir Kansakar beat Sandesh Maharjan each with 3-1. Rabin Shakya, Anil Bajracharya, Binod Ratna Shakya and Surendra Shakya also emerged victorious.
The week-long tournament features Men´s Open, Men´s Veteran and Men´s Junior competitions. The tournament is organized by Nepal Squash and Racket Association in association with CG brand of CG Electronics.
