KATHMANDU, Sept 25: As many as 645 more cases of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) were reported in the Kathmandu Valley in the past 24 hours.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), Kathmandu district alone witnessed 503 new cases of COVID-19 while 91 others in Lalitpur and 51 in Bhaktapur were diagnosed with this disease.
With this, the caseload in the country’s federal capital has soared to 19,774 which accounts for 28 percent of the total cases confirmed so far across the country.
As of Friday, Nepal has reported as many as 70,614 cases of which 51,866 have so far BEEN discharged after recovery.
This is 57.71 percent of the total cases added across the country in the past 24 hours. ... Read More...
