Police have identified the deceased as 60-year-old Upendra Lal Karna of Madhuwapur-2 in the district.
He died on the way to hospital for treatment after the passenger bus (Na 3 Kha 4595) bound for Biratnagar from Katari hit him, police said.
Meanwhile, in Kanchanpur Nain Singh Karki, 33, died consuming an adequate amount of local wine in Jhalari-3 on Tuesday morning.
Locals said Karki was found dead at the bank of Sanbora River. It is learnt that Sarki left for his home from Jhalari Bazaar consuming an adequate amount of local wine last evening and died in his way to home.
The body has been sent for postmortem to Mahakali Zonal Hospital, Mahendranagar.
Likewise, Chhunu Ram Chaudhary, 65, committed suicide Monday night hanging on a tree at Pipaladi-9 in Kanchapur.
The cause of his suicide has not been not identified yet.
