DAMAULI, June 28: Dumre-Aanbukhaireni section of the Prithvi Highway resumed on Sunday afternoon ending the 23-hour-long obstruction after the relatives of two accident victims agreed to sit for table talk for compensation. Prior to this, relatives of the victims had demanded compensation before resuming service on the highway.
Two days back Hem Bahadur Ale and Amit Ale had died when a truck hit a motorcycle in Bandipur-8, Gorechautara. Thousands of passengers were stranded after the vehicular obstruction in the highway.
