DAMAULI, July 18: A 54 – year – woman has been thrashed to death here at Ghiring rural municipality – 4 of Tanahun.
Dolmaya Ranabhat of Dumriswanra area was killed by 28 – year – old Bhim Bahadur Ranabhat, according to Tanahun's Superintendent of Police (SP) Umesh Raj Joshi.
Dolmaya was killed on July 15 when she was alone in the house. The family members had gone to attend a wedding ceremony on the day when the youth found her alone at a cowshed and beat her up.
Police believe that the woman was beaten to death. Although the youth was arrested immediately after the crime, the incident came to light two days after. The police are investigating why the woman was murdered. RSS
