The organization has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Cipradi Trading Company Ltd, authorized dealer of the Indian Motor Company- TATA for purchasing buses for the service. Vehicles to be purchased by the Yatayat will be of Euro-3 standard.[break]
The organization has claimed that vehicles plying on roads in Nepal are of Euro- 1 and 2 standards.
A process for purchasing 16 buses of Euro-3 standards has been completed, said Sajha Cooperative Yatayat Manager Mahendra Raj Pandey."We have been planning to launch the new service with a view to giving quality
Sajha has taken route permits from the Department of Transport Management. The new bus service will be operated in two routes (5 kilometer from Hariharbhawan to Satdobato via Tripureshwor-Ranipokhari- Gaushala-Koteshwor and 16.4 kilometer route will be from Satdobato to Lagankhel, Kalimati and back to Lagankhel.
Both routes will have two-way services, said Sajha.
Sajha which was closed for many times for various reasons is to reopen its service after a long gap. It was established some 40 years back.
