Electric buses of Sajha Yatayat to provide service on new routes, from Patan to Jorpati

KATHMANDU, May 15: Sajha Yatayat is starting electric bus service on new routes. 


Sajha Yatayat is going to run three electric buses on the Patandhoka-Ratnapark-Gnyaneshwar-Ratopul-Gaushala-Chabhil-Buddha-Jorpati-Dakshindhoka route from Monday.

According to General Manager of Sajha Yatayat, Mahendram Raj Pandey, there is a plan to run 15 electric buses on this route in the upcoming days.


“We have got route licenses for three buses,” he said, “Now we are gradually starting our services through electric buses.”


Out of the 40 electric vehicles brought in by Sajha Yatayat, three were already operational. Three more buses are going to start operating from Monday.


Electric buses will start their services from Patandhoka from 2:30 PM on Monday.
