TULASIPUR (Dang), July 19: The number of community forestry users' groups has reached 516 in Dang.
Four new forests were registered and handed to community in last fiscal year and they all are natural forests.
Of the total 192,155 hectares of forest area in the district, some 54 percent is covered by the community forests, as said by District Forest Office Dang's Assistant Forest Officer Gokul Prasad Chaudhary. RSS
