"This is part of our efforts to create an environment of national consensus," he said. He said 11 parties including the CPN-Maoist, Madhesi People´s Rights Forum-Nepal and National Madhes Socialist Party will participate in the meeting.
"Fresh polls cannot be held without creating an environment of consensus. Since some of the parties have started raising voices against the decision of four major political parties it is necessary to lend an ear to them," he said.
During the meeting, the parties will hold discussion on the decision taken by the ruling parties. "The ruling parties want to prolong their stay in the government. They are talking against the spirit of national consensus," Badu said. "The issue of forming a national consensus government to hold CA election will also be discussed at the meeting."
The ruling parties on Saturday had said that there is no point in forming a new government without forging consensus on all contentious issues. They have also decided to hold mass gatherings at various places including Biratnagar, Janakpur, Nepalgunj, Pokhara and Kathmandu.
