SAPTARI, AUG 12: CPN-UML leader KP Oli described Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai as a major hindrance to consensus building and demanded his immediate resignation.

Talking to media persons at a program in the district on Sunday, Oli reiterated that consensus could not be forged unless Bhattarai is at the helm of the government. [break]

Terming the incumbent government as anti-federalist, the UML leader further threatened to unseat the government through stiff protest if PM Bhattarai keeps declining to step down voluntarily.

During his visit to the district, Oli has also met former parliamentarian Jagadish Sah, who is serving a jail term in connection with a murder case.
