It is learnt that the portal to be operated by the Industry Ministry will have all information about Nepal including its socio-economic structure, market size, whether, climate and physical infrastructures.
Similarly, all the necessary information on foreign investment, one door policy, hydropower development, industrial, labour and employment, and commerce and tourism policies, acts, rules and regulations will be put on the portal.
Besides, the portal will provide complete information about investment process, process for licenses of direct foreign investment, direct foreign investment, role of government and the private sector, and polices concerned including provisions on purchase, value added tax, money laundering, minimum wages, income tax, among others, said Neupane.
