BUSINESS BRIEFS: Classic Tech provides 1 mbps broadband internet for Rs 1,000

KATHMANDU, July 15: On the occasion of its third anniversary Classic Tech has announced a special offer under which customers can get 1 Mbps broadband Internet for just Rs 1,000 per month.



According to a press statement issued by the company, even the existing customers would be included in the offer. The company said the offer provides customers with easy and cheap internet access. [break]The company also offers other services such as air max broad band, wi-fi, optical fiber opt max and CT talk among others.



Clinic Plus announces winners for central region

KATHMANDU: Clinic Plus on Sunday completed its two-day central region audition of ´Clinic Plus Healthy Hair Contest-4´ in Kathmandu. According to a press statement issued by the company, 977 pairs of mother and daughter had registered for the event. Sabita Kumari and her two daughers Isha Tandukar and Ishani Tandukar from Kupondol, Lalitpur walked home with the first prize. Likewise, mother-daughter pairs of Sunita and Taniya Thapa from Satdobato and Shila and Shreya Maharjan from Tripureshwar were announced second and third respectively.



The winning mother daughter duo will now participate in the national level competition and if they win, they will win scholarships worth Rs 500,000 and an opportunity to be the face of Clinic Plus. "Now from the top five finalists chosen from five development regions, the national winner will be selected through a SMS voting and judges ranking," said the statement. Five lucky voters can also win Rs 5,000 as cash prize through lucky draw. Senior beautician Kamala Shrestha, former Miss Nepal Usha Khadgi and fashion photographer Rajbhai Suwal are the judges of the contest.



All Yamaha R15 V2.0 limited Edition booked

KATHMANDU: The limited edition Yamaha R15 V2 which was launched on Sunday recieved overwhelming response from customers. According to a press statement issued by MAW Enterprises -- sole authorized distributor of Yamaha bikes in Nepal, all 88 units imported by the company was booked in a single day. The statement said the company was pleased with the response and was planning to import more new editions in the future. The limited edition models have WGP 50th Anniversary edition Logo and was priced at Rs 327,900.
