According to David Rai, the president of Nepali Contact Committee, a Seoul-based Nepali association, Gurung had phoned his family members back home Wednesday night. Gurung´s body has been kept at Chhuwan Hospital in Seoul.
However, the cause behind the death is not known. Preparations are going on to send Gurung´s body to Nepal.
The employer company has agreed to provide financial support to the kin of the deceased to fly the dead body to Nepal. Overwork, alcoholic habit, mental stress and accidents have caused untimely deaths of more than 100 Nepali workers in recent years.
