In the semifinal played at Satdobato Tennis Court, Lissanevitch thumped Aavash Malla 6-0, 6-0 on Wednesday while Kayastha overcame Sakchyam Karki 6-3, 6-4. [break]
In the girls´ category of same age group, Bibhuti Karki has fixed her final clash with defending champion Ashlesa Lissanevitch. In the semifinal, Karki beat Poonam Shrestha 6-1, 6-2. Lissanevitch had already qualified for the final on Tuesday.
In U-10 boys´ singles, Samyak Bhusan Bajracharya and Prashant Basnet will lock horn for the title. Bajracharya defeated Satyap Ilam 6-0, 7-5 while Basnet beat Sworaj KC 6-1, 6-2.
In U-12 boys´ singles, Samrakshyan Bhusan Bajracharya and Renjen Lama fixed final spot. Bajracharya saw off Anjan Thing 6-1, 6-1 while Lama overcame Pranav Khanal 6-2, 6-3. In the same age group of girls´ category, Mayanka Rana defeated Era M Rawat 6-2, 6-1 and Ani Mathema edged past Mahika Rana 7-5, 6-4 for the final spot.
In U-14 boys´ singles, Ivanhoe Lissanevitch, Aavash Malla, Pranav Kayastha amd Subodh Udas advanced to the semifinal. In girls´ section, Bhivuti Karki, Mayanka Rana, Ani Mathema and Bijisha Shrestha fixed semifinal spots.
